Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 6 000 m3 multi-user facility on 7 ha to allow for future development phases.
The facility will include smaller units ranging from 350 m2 to 1 500 m2 under one roof, with communal infrastructure.
The development will include four development phases, creating a complex of about 25 000 m2 when completed.
The facility will enable small, medium- and microsized enterprises and larger more established companies to expand their processing and value-addition activities in the Eastern Cape.
Value
R86-million.
The project is funded by the Department of Trade and Industry.
Duration
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year.
