Project description
The Swaziland Electricity Board proposes to build a 1 000 MW to 2 000 MW coal-fired power station. The plant will be located close to the Maswati coal-mine and the existing 400kV Motraco line.
Value
The actual cost of the project is to be determined by a full feasibility study, but initial estimates indicate that it will cost in the region of $1-billion.
