Chicago Pneumatic has given away 5.5Kva portable petrol-driven generators at the first Mining & Technical Exhibitions which took place in Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga during the first quarter of 2018.

Abdurazak (Zak) Ramedies from Cullinan Mine was the first lucky recipient of the CPPG5 generator on 25th January. Modikwa Mine was the venue for the second MTE on 22nd February where the generator was won by Heinrich Drews from Modikwa. Making up the wining trio was Deon Grayvenstein from Matla Gold Kriel. Eben van der Vyver, Business Development Manager, Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment in South Africa, and dealer, Jaco van Rooyen from Corluc Services, Witbank, were on hand to present the genset to Deon during the Matla MTE on 8th March.

Deon, who is familiar with Chicago Pneumatic, compliments the brand for its good quality: “Chicago Pneumatic offers good value for money and this generator is certainly going to come in very handy, especially during load shedding.”

In accordance with the barter agreement signed with MTE, Chicago Pneumatic is sponsoring a CPPG5 petrol-driven generator at each of the exhibitions during 2018. “Given the wide local as well as cross border reach of these exhibitions, MTE presents us with the ideal platform to expand our brand and generator footprint in the mining sector which is a key segment for Chicago Pneumatic,” says Eben.

He reports that the generators have all been very well received and that they are very pleased with all the positive feedback on the current Chicago Pneumatic equipment out in the market during the first three shows. “We look forward to showcasing the generator at the next three MTE’s that will take place in Botswana at Letlhakane, Palapye and Jwaneng during April.”

The CPPG5 portable generator sets the productivity benchmark. Engineered to provide stable electrical output and safe operation over a long service life, the machine delivers power where and when it is needed enabling end-users to get the job done.
