Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) has received an order for a 440 MW natural-gas-fired gas turbine combined-cycle (GTCC) power generation system to be installed at the Carty generating station.
A separate long-term service agreement for the plant has also been signed.
The high-efficiency GTCC system will feature a state-of-the-art MHI M501GAC gas turbine and an MHI steam turbine unit with 50-inch blades.
The GTCC power generation system on order consists of an MHI M501GAC gas turbine, a steam turbine, a heat-recovery steam generator and a generator.
