Industrial marking systems company Partex manufactures products for the identification of wires, cables, pipes and components, designed to improve safety, traceability and efficiency across a wide range of industries.

The company offers a complete marking ecosystem that covers everything from individual wire markers and cable tags to industrial printers, heat-shrink tubing, panel labels and cable management accessories. The solutions are designed for applications in electrical installations, manufacturing plants, mining operations, renewable-energy projects, transport infrastructure and industrial automation systems.

A key product category is Partex’s range of wire and cable markers. Products such as the PA, PC, PCT and PO series are designed to provide clear identification for connected and unconnected wires, with options including slide-on, clip-on and customised multi-character markers. Features such as anti-rotation designs, snap-on installation, spring-action sleeves and barbed retention systems ensure secure attachment and long-term readability in demanding environments.

For harsher operating conditions, the company supplies halogen-free and heat-shrink identification products, including the PHZ range and the advanced ProSleeve series. These products offer low smoke emissions, flame-retardant properties and resistance to chemicals, temperature extremes and mechanical wear, making them suitable for rail, mining, industrial and military applications.

Partex also manufactures stainless steel cable markers and engraved identification plates for environments where durability is critical. Produced from AISI 316 stainless steel, these markers and signs are engineered to provide corrosion resistance and long service life in offshore, chemical processing and heavy industrial installations.

Supporting the identification products is a range of thermal transfer printers, including the compact T-2000 portable printer and the high-volume MK10-EOS and MK10-SQUIX systems. These printers are designed for on-site and production-scale marking, offering features such as Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi capability, mobile operation, high-speed printing and compatibility with a wide range of marker profiles. Promark Creator software enables users to import data, create complex identification schemes, generate QR codes and manage large marking projects.

Beyond identification, Partex South Africa supplies cable ties, heat-shrink tubing, conduits, terminal markers, ferrules, crimp terminals and cable protection products, providing customers with a comprehensive solution for electrical installation, maintenance and asset management requirements.

The company will be exhibiting its products at the Electra Mining Africa expo to be held on September 7 to 11 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec.
