Bullabulling adds ounces in WA
PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Bullabulling Gold has added 700 000 t of resource to its namesake project, in Western Australia.
The project is now estimated to host an indicated and inferred resource of 25.3-million tonnes grading 0.95 g/t gold for some 772 000 oz of contained ounces. This was compared with the previous estimate of 24.6-million tonnes, at 0.92 g/t gold for 726 000 oz.
The revised resource estimate formed part of the work being done on the definitive feasibility study (DFS) for the Bullabulling project, which has to date confirmed an initial mine life of 12 years, based on the development of four openpit mines.
The next phase of the DFS would evaluate the potential to relocate some, or all, of the public infrastructure in order to extend, and possibly amalgamate the northern pits.
The study, which followed a prefeasibility study on a 7.5-million-tonne-a-year operation, would be completed by the end of the year.
