Johannesburg, 18 March 2014: Blue Turtle, a leading IT software and solutions company, announced an agreement with Lakeside Software, Inc., a leader in system management solutions for the Windows® marketplace, to represent the SysTrack® Management Suite. Lakeside Software SysTrack provides system monitoring, virtualisation planning and system management capabilities that automate IT processes and reduce power requirements.
“We are very excited to leverage our server, virtualisation and system management expertise, education and technical resources, to extend the reach of Lakeside Software’s solutions,” said Ronnie Koch, Senior Consultant at Blue Turtle.
“Blue Turtle brings with it exceptional knowledge and expertise of the southern African market and a strong customer service focus. With a reputation for providing leading and innovative solutions and excellent in-territory consultancy they are a great addition to our worldwide channel" said Tony Coleman, Managing Director, Lakeside Software EMEA."
SysTrack is a comprehensive system management solution that reports on hardware, software and configuration information and monitors events and user behaviour. SysTrack then performs sophisticated statistical analysis and enterprise modelling to assess the impact of that behaviour on applications and resource demands, as a basis for building virtualisation models. SysTrack users can reduce administrative burdens through optimization and automation of physical, virtual and mixed environments and help lower energy bills through automated PC power management. SysTrack spans the virtualisation life cycle, from pre-virtualisation power savings and virtualisation modelling through post-virtualisation user experience management.
