Strijdom Park will become the latest suburb equipped with a high-speed fibre network, this time by Tier 1 Internet and telephony services provider BitCo.

The group on Wednesday announced plans to deploy a fibre network that would service businesses in the Randburg suburb, with cable infrastructure specialist Global Platinum Solutions commissioned to lay the fibre-optic network.

The company aimed to complete the project as “quickly and quietly” as possible.

“We assure businesses that all reasonable measures have been taken to ensure the work is carried out in the neatest, most timeous manner to ensure minimal disruption,” said BitCo MD Jarryd Chatz in a statement.

BitCo would offer competitive pricing, with all fibre packages uncapped and guaranteed with a 99% uptime.
