Malaysia LNG Dua, a joint venture between the Malaysian State-owned oil company Petroleum Nasional Berhad, or Petronas (60%), Shell (15%), Mitusbishi Corporation (15%) and the Sarawak state government (10%).

Project Description
The project involves the rejuvenation of the fourth, fifth and sixth LNG trains at the Petronas LNG complex, in Bintulu, Sarawak, which is one of the largest LNG production complexes in the world.

There are currently eight trains in operation, with a ninth train under construction.

Latest Developments
JGC Corporation, as the leader of a consortium comprising JGC Malaysia and Malaysian company Synerlitz, has been awarded a contract from Malaysia LNG Dua for the rejuvenation work on the Bintulu LNG plant.

The lump-sum turnkey contract calls for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) work associated with the rejuvenation of the plant.
