Project Description
The project involved the expansion of the Bibiyana gas plant to process increased gas volumes from the gasfield, additional development wells and an enhanced gas liquids recovery unit. This will boost Chevron’s total natural gas production capacity in

Bangladesh by more than 300-million cubic feet a day to 1.4-billion cubic feet a day and 4 000 bbl/d of natural gas liquids. In addition, the project is expected to increase the company-operated natural gas liquids production capacity by 4 000 bbl/d to 9 000 bbl/d.

The project is estimated to cost about $500-million.

Duration
Natural gas production started in October.
