Client
Bear Head LNG, a subsidiary of LNG Limited (LNGL). LNGL spent $11-million last year to acquire Bear Head from a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.

Project Description
The Bear Head LNG project is planned to be developed as an eight-million-tonne-a-year LNG export facility.

The proposed project will be built in multiple phases of two-million tonnes a year to four-million tonnes a year each.

Ultimately, the facility will be built to align with market demand.

Transporting gas to the Bear Head LNG project site will require the construction of a 60 km gas transmission pipeline to connect with the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline, owned by Spectra Energy Partners, near Goldboro, in Nova Scotia.

The project includes 225 acres, comprising industrial-zoned land and deep-water acreage, as well as foundations for two 180 000 m³ LNG tanks for a proposed 11.3-million-tonne-a-year LNG import terminal.
