Auas-Naruchas transmission line project, Namibia.

Project Description
Namibia's electricity utility, NamPower, plans to build a transmission line from its Auas transmission station in Windhoek, to the new Naruchas substation near Rehoboth. The project includes the turnkey construction of a 132-kV, three-phase single circuit transmission line, with a single-wire Pelican conductor and a 24-core optical power ground wire (OPGW).

The works include tower profiling/spotting, design, testing, manufacture, supply, shipping, loading and unloading, transport from docks to stores, delivery to site, unloading, precision check survey, support pegging, provision of access facilities, route clearing, installation of gates, installation of foundations and all associated civil works, erection of supports, installation of insulators, conductors, OPGW and all associated fittings and testing on site.
