International property developer and investor Atterbury has consolidated its two Gauteng branches into a single regional headquarters at the Die Klubhuis, housed within the Pretoria precinct development, The Club.

The move included its major businesses Atterbury Asset Management, Atterbury Property Development and the company’s financial services division.

“When we took the decision to reap the benefits of consolidating our Pretoria and Johannesburg operations, neither of our existing office spaces were suitable for our new needs,” explained Atterbury CEO Louis van der Watt.

Atterbury’s new headquarters is positioned within the A-grade offices of the 5 200 m2 Die Klubhuis, or Club Two, which is also home to a modern and high-tech 3 300 m2 Planet Fitness Megaclub.

Developed by Atterbury, The Club precinct, designed by architect Tony Hoffman, comprises 14 000 m2 of vibrant retail, restaurants and offices in Club Retail and Club One.

“Atterbury invested around R180-million in infrastructure in The Club precinct, including major road infrastructure upgrades in the surrounding areas, as well as creating 1 080 basement parking bays in the precinct,” Van der Watt said.

The 10 000 m2 Club Three will include The Club Advocates’ Chambers from November 1, as well as a 5 000 m2 day hospital and 15 residential units.

This final aspect of the development will be completed in the first quarter of 2018.
