A new mobile application (app) that enables the remote monitoring of refrigeration, is now available. The app is designed to help small and medium-sized stores to monitor refrigeration assets from anywhere, at any time, without the need for central management control infrastructure.

The new ProsaLink mobile app from Danfoss provides 24/7 real-time temperature and automatic data-logging, combined with alarm notifications to facilitate immediate action. For instance, the app sends alerts if a cold room door has been left open or should the temperature move beyond safe limits for too long. The app is paired with Danfoss’ PR-SC4 telemetry device data and data is securely stored in the company’s Alsensecloud.

Features of the app include:

  • Intuitive navigation
  • Clear graphics and information
  • Option for app to be retrofitted to existing systems
  • App can be included in new installations
  • Up to four cold rooms, display cabinets, refrigerators, or freezers can be connected to one device.
  • Provides an overview of all connected equipment across multiple sites in the same app

The ProsaLink app aims to help store owners eliminate food loss from breakdowns and unplanned maintenance and increase food quality by closely monitoring temperature and chiller door status, as well as help save the time spent manually recording temperatures as required under HACCP food safety management standards.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
