Project Description
The project involves the construction of a greenfield aluminium rod, wire and electrical conductor manufacturing plant at the Belululane industrial development zone, adjacent to the Mozal aluminium smelter, which will supply the project with raw material under a ten-year renewable contract. The plant will be built on 11 ha and will produce 50 000 t/y and will be the only such manufacturing facility in sub-Saharan Africa supplying markets throughout the region.
