Allianz Worldwide Care has been recognised as the top international health insurer at the inaugural International Adviser Product & Service Awards, which took place in London recently and honoured excellence across the financial services industry.
Following an in-depth analysis by industry experts, Allianz Worldwide Care triumphed over competitors including Cigna Global and Aetna International to gain the International Health Insurer of the Year title. Peter LeBeau, Managing Director of LeBeau Visage, was lead judge for the ‘International Health Insurer of the Year’ category. He said: “Allianz Worldwide Care has a long tradition of product leadership and commitment to this market, and combines innovation with a strong customer service ethos.”
The judges took note of Allianz Worldwide Care’s recent product launches in the Middle East and Africa, the expansion of its Corporate Assistance offering and digital enhancements including the MyHealth app, which clients can use to make claims.
“Recognition at this prestigious award is testament to our approach and affirms our position as a market leader in the health insurance industry. The growth and success we have experienced since our inception can be attributed to one simple factor: we place the client at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we invest continually in technologies to make our clients’ lives easier, and why we are constantly developing new and innovative products to meet the needs of our globally mobile clients,” said Susan Landers, Head of Market Management at Allianz Worldwide Care, a specialised brand of Allianz Worldwide Partners.
