ActionSA will work tirelessly to clinch Gauteng in 2024 – Gauteng chair

ActionSA Gauteng chairperson Funzi Ngobeni has told delegates at the party’s inaugural policy conference that the green party is ready to work tirelessly to ensure total victory in next year’s elections.
He said that since its launch in 2020, ActionSA had not stopped engaging with South Africans.
He added that as part of the party’s commitment to give power back to the people, it had engaged South Africans to participate in what he called a “groundbreaking consultative policy development process”.
“That is why we can boldly say this policy conference is a culmination of months of exhaustive expert-led guidance in the formulation of the party’s policy suite and to prepare us for our maiden national and provincial elections. As we all agree, 2024 will be one of the most important elections to date as it will introduce the beginning of a new era, a new era of governance, and Gauteng, as the largest provincial electorate in South Africa, will definitely determine who will succeed,” said Ngobeni.
He reiterated to delegates that they all had a responsibility to ensure that ActionSA succeeded in 2024.
He said ActionSA Gauteng had a full understanding of what needed to be done and “we are commited just like our friends in the [other] eight provinces to work tirelessly to ensure total victory in the next election”.
Ngobeni highlighted to the delegates that they only have eight months to save South Africa from a “total collapse” and “only through joint effort will we be able to meet our fundamental goal”.
