Local business solutions provider AccTech Systems has announced that it will be showcasing its blueprint ERP solution for the mining industry at Africa’s largest mining event. Africa Mining Indaba 2014 will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 3 - 6 February 2014.

Economic and socio-economic pressures in the mining industry is forcing mining companies to manage and measure operations more accurately in order to manage their workforce, improve productivity and ultimately improve bottom-line profitability.

AccTech Chief Executive Officer Tertius Zitzke says the systems deployed in a mining environment need to bridge the gap between the financial and the operational sides of the modern mining business. “Built on a rock-solid track record and deployed by mining industry experts, Sage ERP for mining offers a complete set of business management solutions designed to manage all aspects of the modern mining enterprise.”

“Whether you are in the exploration phase of mining, or in full production mode, Sage ERP for mining includes financials; asset accounting; supply chain including vendor management; logistics; procurement; bulk commodity management; production tracking; workflow; reporting and human resource management, all integrated into a preconfigured industry-best practice interface,” he explains.

Trusted by mining companies across the globe, Sage ERP for mining delivers true value and predictable results across all aspects of the business including streamlined financials, incorporation of production and exploration data, visibility and control of the supply chain processes, asset management and maintenance and human resource management.

Zitzke says the consolidation and extraction of data from remote mines with local systems is becoming a major challenge for mining groups in Africa. “Managers have less time than ever before to make business decisions, they urgently require sound operational and business intelligence tools to drive performance.”

AccTech’s ERP solutions for mining are a scalable set of modules that fit any mining operation ranging from junior miners in exploration, to mines in development through to full scale end to end mining groups.

“With deployment options ranging from traditional on-premise deployments to modern and economic hosted options, there is a Sage ERP solution that will fit your budget and requirements,” he concludes.
