The Nelson Mandela Foundation is pleased to announce the Honourable Mia Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados, as the speaker for the 20th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture, which will be held in eThekwini on 12 November 2022, in solidarity with the people of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.

She will address the theme: Social Bonding and Decolonisation in the Context of the Climate Crisis: Perspectives from the Global South.
