The facility demonstrates an underground personnel positioning system developed with South African partner MPI-Holdings, which combines Bluetooth-based positioning technology with Huawei's network and software platform to provide real-time visibility of personnel in underground tunnels, and the MetaWorks digital twin platform, which brings together information from different systems to create a unified view of mine layouts, equipment, workers, vehicles, alarms and production status.
