Zuma appoints new NPC member

President Jacob Zuma has appointed Rand Water CEO Percy Sechemane as a member of the National Planning Commission (NPC), which resides within the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Sechemane, who would serve in this position for five years, joined 25 other NPC commissioners.

The NPC, chaired by Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Jeff Radebe, was responsible for developing a long-term vision and strategic plan for the country.
