Form-Scaff (a Division of Waco Africa Pty Ltd) – Africa’s market leader in Formwork and Scaffolding – will, from the 1st of August 2019 become the exclusive distribution partner for Doka products and services in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Doka GmbH, a company with over 150 years of success, is a world leader in developing, manufacturing and distributing formwork technologies.

Doka currently operates in over 70 countries across 5 continents and has over 7,000 employees. Doka’s pre-eminent formwork solutions are used in all areas of construction ranging from housing developments to transportation, infrastructure, power-generation facilities or even for building the world’s tallest structures.

Speaking on behalf of Doka GmbH, Member of the Management Board Paolo Zumaglini said; "Doka's top priority when working in any market is to understand the demand and deliver suitable, cost-effective solutions that make construction sites safer, while ensuring projects are delivered on time thanks to our innovative products and systems. In signing this exclusive agreement with Waco Africa, we are gaining a strong, reliable partner with an extensive African footprint and in-depth knowledge of the African construction market”.

Form-Scaff, with almost 60 years of experience in Africa, will now offer both the traditional Form-Scaff product ranges and all of the world-class Doka product ranges on a Sale and/or Hire basis throughout their extensive branch network in South Africa and Africa in countries such as Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya to name but a few.

“Doka is one of the most technologically advanced formwork companies in the world and will add enormous value to Form-Scaff.” said Mike Els, CEO Waco Africa.

Form-Scaff will incorporate Doka’s three South African branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban as well as the Mozambique and Nigeria operations. Form-Scaff’s robust product range is fully supported by five designs office locations, engineering services and on-site technical support. Their understanding of Africa’s unique market conditions such as labour, culture, climate and construction methods have ensured their products are seamlessly matched to the customer’s expectation for efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The partnership between Doka and Form-Scaff provides the burgeoning Sub-Saharan construction industry with the capacity and capability they are looking for to meet the continent’s dynamic growth.

Els went on to say, “We are extremely excited about the long-term prospects of this partnership which extends Form-Scaff’s African footprint to 20 local and 13 international branches. This makes us the largest and most significant formwork company on the continent. This together with Doka’s products and services, capabilities and reputation will certainly benefit all clients.”
