Location
Hoop area of the Barents Sea, about 310 km from the Norwegian mainland.

Project Owner/s
The licensees are Equinor (35%), OMV (Norge) (25%), Petoro (20%) and Idemitsu Petroleum Norge (20%).

Project Description
Wisting is a considerable oilfield in the Barents Sea.

The Wisting discoveries are estimated to contain more than one-billion barrels of oil, and an estimated 300- to 500-million barrels of recoverable resources. 

A floating production unit based on a circular FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) solution is being assessed for the project.
