Project Description
The project is the first and biggest foreign investment made in Azerbaijan’s renewable-energy sector to date and will contribute to the country’s target of generating 30% of its energy through renewables.
The 240 MW wind farm will contribute an estimated 3.7% of total national grid capacity, powering 300 000 households while offsetting 400 000 t of emissions.

The project will localise the use of skills and use local contractors that adhere to health and safety standards.
