Project Description
The project involves repairing damage to roads and associated structures near Robertson and Ashton, in the Western Cape, caused by floods in 2013/14.

The contract provides for the rehabilitation of two precast culverts, three cast in situ culverts and two low-level causeways, as well as river and road embankment works at five sites.

Value
The contract is valued at R12-million, with about 12% of the total value of the contract to be spent on targeted enterprises.

Duration
Work on the project started in May and is expected to be completed in early 2017.
