Project Description
The wind farm will be built in the North Sea, on the British east coast.

It will comprise 35 turbines of 6 MW each, for a total capacity of 210 MW and will provide carbon dioxide-free power, equivalent to the yearly power consumption of almost 210 000 British households.

Value
The construction will represent a total investment of about €1-billion, including the construction of the transmission assets.

Duration
Offshore construction of the wind farm will begin in the first half of 2014 and is expected to be fully commissioned in the first half of 2015.

Dong Energy has approved the construction of the wind farm.
