Project Description
Webber Wentzel Attorneys’ new 90 Rivonia road headquarters will comprise 34 500 m2 of space and will feature two wings. One wing of 26 000 m2 will be occupied by Webber Wentzel Attorneys and the other will be developed for its future expansion.
The offices feature seven levels of parking, with three different entrances and exits off Rivonia road and Katherine street.
Above, the ground floor and seven levels of offices will be constructed.
The redevelopment will seek a Green Building Council of South Africa Green Star four-star rating.
Value
R895-million will be invested to complete the development. This excludes the value of the existing building, which will be fully demolished.
Duration
Occupation is expected in 2014.
Latest Developments
After an intense tender and selection process by Webber Wetzel Attorneys, which received 27 submissions by sector heavyweights including Redefine, Growthpoint, Zenprop, Intaprop and others, the tender was awarded to Redefine Properties.
