Versatile multi-tool proves popular
A new multi-tool designed for a range of uses can be used to carve, saw, cut, trim, sand, grind or polish a variety of materials.
Brandroid, the Southern Africa distributor for the tool says that the WORX 20 V Sonicrafter oscillating multi-tool WX696.9 is one of the most popular tools in its range.
“Oscillating multi-tools are versatile and are able to provide solutions to so many usually difficult tasks. In a single tool you’re able to scrape, sand, remove mortar, cut and trim, simply by changing the application head on the front of the tool,” said Brandroid MD Dean Lotter.
The tool’s Universal Fit system make it compatible with accessories from major brands and its Powershare 20 V battery is interchangeable with other WORX tools.
Additional features of the Sonicrafter include:
- Powered by a brushless motor offering 25% more power and longer run time than an equivalent brushed tool.
- Robust design makes it suitable for do-it-yourself and trade applications.
- Compatible with blades from most major brands, making it convenient and flexible.
- A slim body and the textured grip are designed for improved control, increasing comfort, accuracy and reduced fatigue during long use.
- Choice of 5 000/min or 18 000/min, delivering increased levels of speed and application control.
The Sonicrafter is powered by the Powershare battery platform, making it compatible with all Worx 20 V, 40 V and 80 V power tools, outdoor and garden power tools, and lifestyle products.
