Project Description
The project entails the construction of a modern consulate – the biggest consular operation in Africa and the biggest US Consulate in the world.

The building will include improved public-facing interview and waiting areas.

Potential Job Creation
The project will employ an estimated 2 500 Nigerian citizens, including engineers, architects, artisans, construction workers and administrative staff.

Capital Expenditure
$537-million.

Planned Start/End Date
The construction project will take about five years, with completion expected in 2027.
