Project Description
The UZ750 project is one of the major offshore field development projects in the UAE. The project is located 80 km off the coast of Abu Dhabi, and is being built on four artificial islands. The development will comprise associated drilling and production facilities. The project will increase the production rate from Upper Zakum from 550 000 bbl/d to 750 000 bbl/d.

Amec Foster Wheeler has been awarded an extension to its project management consultancy (PMC) contract for UZ750.
Amec’s scope of work includes PMC services to be delivered as part of an integrated project management team.
Zadco will oversee the contractors’ delivery of reimbursable engineering, procurement and construction scopes of work, as well as commissioning and start-up support of the facilities.
The work is scheduled to be completed by December 2017.
