Trans-Africa Projects (TAP) has reached an exciting milestone as the company celebrates 25 years of delivering premier power evacuation services across Africa and beyond.

TAP is an independent consultancy firm, which was established in 1995 through an equal joint venture between the biggest power utility on the African continent ESKOM and an American multinational leading engineering, procurement and construction company FLUOR.

With this unique blend of shareholders, the past two and a half decades have seen this power utility backed consultancy firm become the most sought after solutions provider for power utilities across the African continent and beyond. TAP's myriad of services include feasibility studies, power line and substation design, electrication design, project management, construction management and commissioning, procurement, power line and substation audits, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering designs, among others.

Through its experienced, dedicated, diverse and highly skilled resource team, TAP has etched a reputation on the market of being a highly-rated and sought-after innovative energy solutions provider.

With our 25 years of experience in the industry, we use our skill set and knowledge by providing training services to help transform Africa thereby ensuring that the continent thrives. This is achieved through our in-house learning opportunities, bursaries and further support to smaller industry businesses who are eager to grow.
