Project Description
The Tobolsk-Polymer complex comprises two units – a 510 000 t/y dehydrogenation propylene production unit and a 500 000 t/y polypropylene production unit.

State-of-the-art technology has been used in the design and construction of the complex to minimise the facility’s environmental impact.

The site features a closed-loop wastewater treatment system, preventing discharge to local rivers, lakes, swamps or any other above-ground or underground water reservoirs. Wastewater treatment facilities have also been designed with extra capacity.

Construction of the complex started in 2010 and was commissioned in October this year.
