In 2017, The Hydraulic Centre (THC) turned 30. It is a wonderful age – old enough to feel confident, yet still youthful. We are full of fresh ideas, new thinking, and enthusiasm for helping our clients meet the challenges of the next
30 years – and beyond.

Our commitment to being a leading provider of world-class hydraulic products is as strong as ever and THC has evolved into a powerhouse of products and services for the industries it serves. Our combination of world-class products and services delivers this promise of innovation to over 1 000 organisations all over Africa. Together with our clients and employees we continue to transform the industry.

Traditionally, our core focus was on hydraulic hose, hose fittings and hydraulic adaptors. We have now expanded our product offerings to include a full range of hydraulic components. This takes us one step closer to becoming a one-stop shop for all your hydraulic needs.

The market has really evolved. Over the past ten years, the market has seen over 20 new entrants offering products of various pricing and quality. Today, the market can be segmented into a high-quality market vs a low-price market. At THC, we have positioned our product offerings to service both ends of the market – all with exceptional quality and reliability.

Part of our innovation was to introduce a third-tier offering. With the introduction of our DYNAMISCHE range of hydraulic products, we have successfully introduced a market offering that provides the best value in the industry by offering well-priced products, with exceptional quality and performance.

In 2016, THC established a quality management system. We are now ISO 9001:2015 as well as BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certified. We are also certified with DEKRA. THC is 100% black economic-empowerment (BEE) owned and managed and we are a proud Level 4 BEE contributor.
