Client
Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB), a subsidiary of Malaysia’s State-owned entity, Petronas, and Hess Exploration & Production Malaysia, a subsidiary of US energy company Hess Corporation. PCSB and Hess hold 75% and 25% respectively in the project.

Project Description
The gas pretreatment facility will be built in the Kerteh complex, in the Terengganu region.

The plant will eliminate impurities such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide from natural gas extracted offshore, producing gas on a large scale of 700-million cubic feet a day.

$770-million.

Duration
The project is expected to be completed in June 2016.

Samsung Engineering has signed a contract valued at $770-million for a large-scale gas terminal on a lump-sum turnkey basis.
