The project involves the construction of a 150 MW wind farm. The wind farm, which will be located in the commune of Calama, in the Antofagasta region, will be on 1 900 ha of land owned by the National Assets Ministry and will connect to the Northern Interconnected System.
Value
The project will involve an investment of about $350-million.
Duration
The wind farm is expected to reach financial close in quarter three of 2015 and start construction shortly thereafter.
