Project Description
The planned new facility will have a capacity of 214 000 barrels per stream day (BPSD).
The refinery includes crude and vacuum distillation units, naphtha hydrotreating, a 40 000 BPSD delayed coking unit, a 66 000 BPSD hydrocracking unit, kerosene and diesel hydrotreaters, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) caustic treatment units, a 28 000 BPSD continuous catalytic reformer, a saturated gas unit, an amine and sour water stripper, sulfur and tail gas treatment units and a 160 000 Nm3/h hydrogen unit, as well as utilities, auxiliary systems and offsite facilities.
The refinery will have a yearly production of 4.8-million tons of ultralow sulphur diesel, 1.6-million tons of naphtha, 420 000 t of mixed xylene, 1.6-million tons of jet fuel, 320 000 t of LPG, 490 000 t of reformate, 690 000 t of petrocoke and 160 000 t of sulphur at its full capacity operation.

Technip has been awarded a lump sum contract to supply its proprietary technology, detailed engineering and procurement services for a reformer for the hydrogen plant.
The reformer, which is the heart of a hydrogen plant, will produce 160 000 Nm3/h of hydrogen product and high-quality export steam to be used by the refinery.
