Kumba is undertaking the construction of a 63 MW solar PV plant that will reduce Scope 2 carbon emissions by about 33%, a 15% saving on Sishen’s total carbon emissions in the first stage, with the rest of the targeted 2030 reductions to be delivered through other wheeled wind and solar renewable-energy projects.
