Latest Developments
Toyota Tsusho Group has reached commercial operations date of the 60 MW Tozeur solar power plant, with retroactive effect from March 4, 2026.
The project will generate predictable revenues under a 30-year power purchase agreement with Tunisian State-owned utility Société Tunisienne de l'Electricité et du Gaz.
The power plant was built in parallel with the Sidi Bouzid solar plant, which reached commercial operations date in March, with retroactive effect to January 1, 2026.
Sidi Bouzid and Tozeur are the first Scatec-developed projects to reach commercial operations in Tunisia and are together expected to produce about 288 GWh/y of clean electricity, equivalent to an estimated abatement of more than 115 000 t/y of CO2 emissions.
