Project Description
The project calls for the configuration of equipment to boost the waste treatment volume of the existing stoker furnace-type incinerator. The SWTE plant project has a concession agreement with Singapore’s National Environment Agency to treat up to 2 100 t/d of municipal waste. The modifications will allow the SWTE project’s contracted capacity to increase by up to 10% to 2 310 t/d.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) group companies have received an order to modify the SWTE project.
The core work will be performed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering (MHIEC), an MHI group company based in Yokohama, Japan. MHIEC’s technologies will be applied to increase the plant’s incineration processing volume by strengthening the heat and corrosion resistance of parts of the furnaces and boilers.
