Electrical products supplier Magnet’s extensive range of Schneider Electric products and solutions includes the Harmony XB5 range of illuminated emergency stops.

Emergency stops are an integral part of all machinery installations.

Schneider innovated the Illuminated E-Stop with two customer pain points in mind:

1. Difficulty in locating an emergency stop in a dark or crowded environment
2. Difficulty in locating the activated emergency stop in long machines

Locating an emergency stop quickly is crucial, as a second too late could result not only in production loss, but also the potential loss of a limb or a life.

What differentiates Schneider’s illuminated E-stop from its previous version?

Schneider has added a ring light to the e-stop button. Once activated, the light turns red and it will remain red until the operator or technician has disengaged it.

There are three versions of the illuminated Ring:

Option 1 - Existing range of push buttons
The addition of an illuminated legend ring to existing installations. A normally open contact is required to activate the red LED light.

Option 2 - Panel Mount
Can be mounted directly onto a panel, with new aesthetics.

Option 3 – Control Station
Pre-assembled in an enclosure.

Magnet is the largest distributor of Schneider Electric products in South Africa and boasts in-depth Schneider product knowledge and technical expertise.
