SCHADE moves and gets set for further growth: “Engineering - Made in Germany”

HERNE/GELSENKIRCHEN. Dozens of file cabinets, chairs and desks, EDP equipment and many files brought plenty of work to the staff of SCHADE and the crew of the contracted moving company. After twelve years in Herne, SCHADE Lagertechnik GmbH took only three days to move to the new headquarters in Gelsenkirchen.
Reason for the relocation is an increased demand for office space due to the company’s continued growth. “When we came to Herne with a staff of about 30 people back in 2002, some of our offices even remained empty”, says Wolfgang Jung, Managing Director of SCHADE Lagertechnik. However, that has changed over the years. “Our former premises were simply too small for today’s staff of 70.” Since there was no possibility of spatial expansion, the company had to look around for a new residence. Today the new office hosts the SCHADE specialists from engineering, construction and distribution. Its ample size leaves sufficient potential for continued further growth.
As a part of AUMUND Group, SCHADE Lagertechnik is among the world leading producers of machinery for bulk material storage sites. The company keeps writing its success story with clients worldwide. However, the home base for development, construction and distribution and further growth will remain in Germany. “Here we can rely on our staff dedicated to finding tailor made solutions for our clients’ requirements ”, stresses Wolfgang Jung. “Our staff stands for innovation and precision – Engineering - Made in Germany”
