Project Description
San Pedro III is part of an ambitious programme to deliver 150 MW of PV power in the local area through Rijin Capital.
The 55 MW facility will be delivered in two phases and generate about 150 GWh/y once connected to the grid.
Value
$114-million.
Duration
The initial phase of the plant, totalling 33 MW, is currently under construction and scheduled to be connected to the grid during the first quarter of 2015.
The second phase, comprising the remaining 22 MW, is expected to be completed later in the year.
Latest Developments
The San Pedro III solar PV plant project successfully reached financial close in February this year.
Mott MacDonald was lender’s technical adviser during the project’s financing and is now monitoring construction of the plant.
Mott MacDonald provided technical due diligence for the project’s lender, including a review of the suite of contracts and the generation forecast analysis.
