Project Description
The project proposes the construction of a 34.2 MW wind power plant, in Dubrovnik-Neretva county, about 25 km from Dubrovnik.

The project will comprise 12 turbines of 2.85 MW each, connected in three circuits to a wind farm substation. This will then be connected to the 110 kV local metering point of the Croatian transmission system operator company HEP-Operator Prijenosnog Sustava substation, close to the wind farm.

In addition to the wind turbines, an electrical substation, a transformer station, transmission lines, service roads and an underground cable connecting the wind turbines to the substation and onwards to the national grid will be built.

An extension of this project is considered for the future and is expected to include 12 additional turbines.

The project is estimated at €62-million.

Duration
The project is expected to begin construction in the first half of 2014, with commercial operations expected to begin by the end of 2015.
