The site is located about 60 km north-west of the Townsville central business district, 3 km from Balgal beach, in Queensland, Australia.

Esco Pacific.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 110 MW utility-scale solar power plant.

The solar farm will cover 190 ha and comprise about 400 000 solar photovoltaic modules.

The solar panels will be installed on ground-mounted frames that will slowly track the daily horizontal movement of the sun.

The plant will be connected to the grid by an existing 66 kV transmission line.
