Project Description
The project will increase the terminal’s capacity from 3.2-million tons a year to 4.5-million tons a year.
A second expansion to eight-million tons a year is also a possibility, as well as further expansion to 20-million tons a year.
Value
The project is estimated at R125-million, although further expansion would require “much more material investment” and secured volumes.
Duration
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
