Reusable face mask offers comfort and protection
The Respishield mask designed and manufactured in South Africa by BOE Distributors
A locally manufactured face mask offers a safe and easy-to-use alternative to cloth and surgical masks.
The reusable face mask has a replaceable filter and adjustable headband, designed to comfortably fit all face profiles, including adults and children over the age of six years.
The Respishield injection mould plastic mask is designed and manufactured in South Africa by BOE Distributors, specifically to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The mask is said to be safer to use as touching the outside of the moulded plastic is less likely to transmit the virus to the wearer’s mouth or nose.
Manufactured in a thermoplastic with a grid section that houses a replaceable filter, the product can be cleaned using soap and water or sanitiser. The replaceable filter is SABS approved and allows for unobstructed breathing. The mask is supplied with three replaceable filters, which should be replaced daily. Additional filters can be purchased separately from BOE Distributors.
The Respishield face mask is water proof, making it suitable to wear outside during rainy weather and is particularly suited for use by school children, cyclists, motorcyclists, builders and construction workers, the mining and security industry, joggers and anyone working or exercising outdoors. In addition, the mask is designed to offer enough space around the nose and mouth to allow users to wear make-up, such as lipstick, and to facilitate easier speech. The reusable masks are designed to be long lasting and therefore more cost-effective, with only the filters requiring replacement.
