Francois Diedrechsen has resigned as financial and commercial director of road building group Raubex and would step down on March 31.

Raubex group financial accountant James Gibson would assume Diedrechsen’s responsibilities with immediate effect.

Gibson has been group financial accountant since 2006 and has managed the overall group financial function since then. He played a key role during the company’s listing on the JSE in 2007 and also supports the investor relations function.

“We thank Francois for his invaluable contribution to Raubex over the past nine years and wish him well in his new endeavours. In particular, we are pleased that he remains available to the group as an external adviser,” Raubex founder and chairperson Koos Raubenheimer said on Tuesday.
