PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Western Australia-focused gold miner Ramelius Resources has flagged a profit of some A$21.4-million for the year ended June.

The full-year profit was based on gross sales revenue of A$129.9-million, with Ramelius also predicting a surplus of A$25-million, compared with the deficit of A$32.7-million reported in the previous financial year.

CEO Mark Zeptner said on Monday that the financial results demonstrated the company’s profitability following the achievement of production guidance during each quarter at the Mt Magnet gold mine.

The miner was expected to release its results for the financial year shortly.
