PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold miner Ramelius Resources has adjusted its full year expectations after setting a new production record.

The ASX-listed miner on Monday said that gold production for the June quarter is expected to reach around 80 000 oz, up from the previous guidance of between 65 000 oz to 70 000 oz, while full year production is expected to reach between 225 000 oz and 230 000 oz, up from the previous estimate of between 210 000 oz and 220 000 oz.

The increase in the quarterly and full year expectation was made after the miner revealed that it had already reached 74 371 oz of production for the June quarter, setting a new record.

“We are obviously delighted by the operational performance in achieving records in both quarterly and annual gold production, particularly against the backdrop of Covid-19 and the additional administrative requirements the pandemic has necessitated,” said MD Mark Zeptner.

“We remain confident that Ramelius, with its high-performing team, excellent cash generation and enviable balance sheet, is very well positioned for the next stage of growth.”
