Project Description
The proposed project involves the construction of new sections of the R35 and R55 expressways.
The R35 connects the Bohemia and Moravia regions and runs parallel to the D1 motorway, the longest in the country. The project entails the construction of a new 5.8 km section of the expressway, including three bridges, two interchanges, two roundabouts, four overpasses and one railway viaduct, as well as the relocation of one watercourse as part of the scheme.
The R55, which links the city of Olomouc with the town of Breclav, will include the construction of 5.3 km of new road.
Work will comprise building seven bridges, two overpasses, a railway bridge, 15 retaining walls and six noise barriers, as well as the relocation of a bus stop.
